From A Dark Place

There’s a massive group art show opening this Wednesday from 6.30pm at Little Fish Gallery in Newtown. Featuring works from nearly 30 different artists, including Eli Partridge, Grant Hunter, Fjorn Butler, Stephanie Cola, Anna Vo, and Elizabeth Nagy. All proceeds from art and snacks sold will go to Rape Crisis NSW, with fundraising aimed at a new peer support group for 12-16 year old survivors of sexual assault. Come along and support a good cause!

The Difficult Music Festival

For the entire month of January, Sedition in Sydney will be host to The Difficult Music Festival!  All of the events are free or by donation, with a stellar lineup of sound artists, experimental musicians, and weirdo types set to appear. Proceedings for each night should kick off around 7.30pm.

Polyfox And The Union Of The Most Ghosts will make his first appearances in Queensland this week, with a number of top secret house shows lined up, and a neat looking show at a venue called Book Nook with Anna Vo, our good buddy Drea’s amazing Brutal Hate Mosh project, master instrument builder and just absolutely awesome sound wizard Ross Manning, and The Dead Notes. We’re just about to launch a CDR version of his The Union Of The Most Ghosts release, so keep your eyes peeled all you cassette haters out there.
