CELEBRATED SUMMER is a wonderful summer celebration of music from Australia with two very special guests from Japan joining the fun.

Things will be kicking off in style at 2pm with a very special performance by two of the bands exploring and interchanging their music as they go, promising to be louder and heavier than anything you’ve ever heard.

Taking cues from this collaboration, music will morph and melt across two stages for the rest of the day. Cars, trains, bikes, planes and sneakers will have carried truckloads of musicians from far and wide who will offer up their manifold talents for this unique event which promises to be the most varied line-up you can catch this summer.

The event is also an audience participating movie project where there is an open invitation and encouragement to bring video cameras of any description.

Any folks uploading 10 minutes of useful footage from the event, whether it’s bands, interviews or something more inspired and stimulating, will be rewarded with a $5 refund should they wish. The CELEBRATED SUMMER you tube channel is up right now so go subscribe.

You’ll want some sustenance for the day so there will be food stalls and fairy floss! There will be a few market stalls as well as the requisite merchandise stalls too. Lots of lounges and areas to chill out too.

Bring your friends and be prepared to be entertained!

this time our focus on obscurish music will be on the contemporary side of the two faces of the same old head – which isn’t, of course, by any means accurate. still, at closer examination the noticeable similarities will be surprising no matter how different the context or geographic background is.
