Michael Crafter – Double Doomin’

Sydney duo Michael Crafter have released a new album titled Double Doomin’ on Melbourne’s Vacant Valley label. Recorded one night on a bunch of downers at BJB studios and given a few coats of polish by studio whiz JP Fung, here Michael Crafter have elevated themselves to the ranks of a band to be taken seriously. Who’da thunk it? Absent is the one-joke party grind they had become known for, replaced with gigantic sludge riffs, deliberately paced drone, and even better, the whole thing is instrumental; there are no vocals from irrepressible frontman Matheson Vaughn.
It’s available as a limited edition cassette and a digital download, and it features gnarly cover art by good dude Steven Nuttall. Check it out.

Michael Crafter – D.Y Or Die

Monstera Deliciosa is somewhat proud to announce the cassette release of Dee Why based punk duo Michael Crafter‘s D.Y Or Die EP, which was previously issued on CD through Lesstalk Records. As an additional bonus, the cassette version features an exclusive remix by electro funster Simo Soo.

2. Song 1
3. Fat People Make Me Sick
4. Skinny People Eat A Dick
