Polyfox And The Union Of The Most Ghosts perform The History of The Grateful Dead, and Creature Comforts live at Black Wire, Sydney. Videos by Anthony Boyer.
Polyfox And The Union Of The Most Ghosts perform The History Of The Grateful Dead live at Newcastle’s Terrace Bar on June 28 2013.
Roku Music are a shoegaze band from Brisbane. They probably draw on other influences, but that’s just a mistake, an accident on their behalf. The band is Donovan Miller (No Anchor), Innez Tulloch (Tiny Spiders, Feathers), Jody Gleeson (The Madisons) and Thomas Roche (The Rational Academy). Four Thousand called them “dark, but not in a cliche goth way,” and Sonic Masala said: “the dark throbbing tensions and feedback squalls that bleed through is a distant relative to Miller’s No Anchor affiliations, whilst the static pop aesthetics that ebb and flow like a reticent tide can be as lightweight as a Feather(s) or a hazy dream from a Tiny Spider(s).”
Supported by local stalwarts Polyfox and the Union of the Most Ghosts, along wth local upstarts Machines For Dreams.

Pop Singles play Newcastle as part of their 2012 LP Launch tour this Thursday night August 16 at Terrace Bar with special guests Housewives, Polyfox And The Union Of The Most Ghosts, and Hell Setzer.
ALL GONE is the much anticipated debut LP by Melbourne based trio Pop Singles. The band draw similarities with the melodic post punk of the 1980’s (The Triffids, Husker Du, Sad Lovers & Giants), as well as inspiration from local pop luminaries Popolice and Dane Certificate. The production of ALL GONE is assured and composed, encompassing the polished sound of the groups earlier EP and 7″ with the jangly, raw feel of their cassette releases and live shows. A record revealing inner tension, hope and hopelessness: Pop Singles have made a relatable and affecting debut.
The Gooch Palms – upbeat semi-nude garage/powerpop
Polyfox – loose, jangly guitar-pop
Amateur Drunks – smiley pop-punk!
