One of the greatest events of the year is coming up! The Winter Tragic Festival will once again take place at Akemi in the beautiful Blue Mountains of New South Wales on Sunday June 21.
Akemi is a small shopfront and house on the edge of a cliff overlooking a great big valley. It is operated as a studio and performance space by various artists, activists, and mega celebrities of the Australian experimental underground.
The Festival runs over about 12 Hours and typically consists of heaps of radical Blue Mountains acts, as well as bands from all over the country. It really is one of the best opportunities of the year for all the weirdos to get together and the label distros are always excellent. We’ll be there trying to flog off the Monstera Deliciosa catalogue, but you can expect to buy or trade lots of other goodies too.
